readiness

Sisterfriends,

Get ready. Be ready. Stay ready. We are conditioning or conditioned ourselves to be in a constant state of preparedness, but for what? We don’t know what’s coming. We stock up on what we think we need for emergencies or abrupt changes to our lives, COVID-19 anyone?πŸ‘€. Everything from toilet paper {I had to do it} to finances to purportedly impenetrable safe spaces. And almost always we are shocked by a turn of events.Β  How can we possibly be ready for disruptions? the word in and of itself indicates unexpectedness.

Some of us have been really hard on ourselves because we weren’t “prepared”. We weren’t prepared for the heartbreak. The financial loss. The aftermath. It. is. Impossible. And yet, we are good for pursuing that intentionally elusive badge of honor. Not to be misunderstood, I can only imagine how many of you’ll are mentally devising examples of overcoming the odds and conquering the impossibilities as you continue to read; but aren’t those “impossibilities” according to your perspective?

Listen, NOTHING is impossible with help. What I am referring to is a “readiness” for assistance. A hopeful expectation of help to surmount the impossible. A readiness to surrender chasing the “badge of honor”, and that takes a readiness of humility. Allow me to share my struggle. I thought humbleness was about lowering yourself to a constant groveling position. 🎢🎀”I can’t go for that! no can do”. But, according to Grace, humility is acknowledging and receiving the help you need.

Grace is the only one who stays on ready, prepared for the future. Grace is ready to give you the game plan, pivot points, and insider information. Ready to cosign that dream or vision or guide you to yours. Ready to escort you past the impossible.

Are you ready?

If so, check this out!
