natural Skin Care remedies

Many feel if we can’t consume it, then we shouldn’t use it and that has natural products on the rise. In this issue, we will explore a skin care regalement for normal and dry skin with items that can be found in your local supermarket.
No matter what products you choose, be sure to keep the following two steps in your daily skin care ritual.
Cleanse and moisturize in the morning and at night. Night time care is the most important time to practice a good skin care system. Cell reproduction happens while we sleep. By leaving the days travel on our skin during this process will lead to skin issues such as pimples, acne and blemishes, to name a few.

Morning Cleanse 

2 stems of fresh Thyme(Crushed or 1/2 tablespoon dried thyme) Picture

2 teaspoons fennel seeds, crushed

1/2 cup boiling water

2 drops of lemon essential oil

Mix thyme and fennel together in a bowl, pour boiling water over it add lemon drops and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and store in a jar and store in the refrigerator. Use this for your morning wash. Apply with cotton ball on face and neck

Night time cleanse 

2 small cucumbers, peeled and halved
1 cup lanolin
1/4 cup almond oil Picture
1/2 cup of boiling water

Blend cucumber until liquefied. Slowly add boiling water. Set aside to cool.
In a sauce pan melt lanolin over low heat. Remove from heat making sure to stir constantly. Gradually add almond oil. Stain cucumber mixture in a cheese cloth and reserve the juice.
Mix all mixtures together. Use this as a night time cleanser.

Twice a day moisturizer 

1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
3 tablespoons grated beeswax picture
3 tablespoons lanolin
4 tablespoons rosewater

In a small bowl, mix aloe vera gel and olive oil together and set aside
In a small pan melt lanolin and beeswax over low heat and mix constantly
slowly add olive oil. Add rosewater and the rest of the ingredient in a blender until smooth pour into a jar and refrigerate. The mixture will solidify as it cools.
